Division Marketing Manager

About the role

Nutrien Ag Solutions is the retail division of Nutrien, providing full-acre solutions through our network of trusted crop consultants at more than 2,000 locations in North America, South America, and Australia. For more than 150 years, we have been helping growers achieve the highest yields with the most sustainable solutions possible.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the division to routinely educate crop consultants, growers and other key territory stake holders.
• Anticipate future marketing events and provide marketing and pricing direction.
• Implement and supervise corporate chemical marketing plan within the division.
• Develop and implement a market-based approach to retain and grow chemical revenues and margins to maximize company profitability.
• Prepare an annual strategic plan outlining support strategy, product positioning and tactics to help increase sales growth opportunities.
• Help with forecasting annual sales targets with plant nutrition shelf per product for the division.
• Collaborate with technical resources and key sales stakeholders to build product confidence by leveraging Loveland nutritional product trials, field days and field demonstrations.
• Achieve the division annual sales goals through various sales tactics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or similar work experience.
• Strong Agronomic background preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience, with 5+ years of this experience must have been in a leadership capacity.
• Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
• Familiarity with grain and farm supply industry regulations and policies.
