About the role
Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Division Manager to lead and manage fire and life safety activities in an assigned division. The role involves developing and implementing a strategic growth strategy, managing budgets and P&L statements, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage fire and life safety activities in an assigned division.
- Develop and implement a strategic growth strategy in line with company objectives.
- Responsible for developing annual budgets and achieving revenue and profitability targets.
- Manage Profit and Loss statement of the Division.
- Support achievement of cash flow and Net Working Capital (NWC) targets.
- Manage and achieve operations performance, including achievement of key metrics.
- Build a high-performance culture through annual engagement reviews and development initiatives.
- Manage and achieve efficient asset management, including inventory and company service vehicles.
- Plan, staff, and allocate manpower.
- Achieve employee and customer satisfaction targets.
- Communicate with customers, employees, vendors, and partners to achieve annual targets.
- Ensure all employees embrace the safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Two to five years of experience in a Division Management role within the fire and life safety industry.
- Proven track record of growing a business as a Division Manager.
- Ability to effectively communicate to a diverse group of individuals, including company leadership, employees, regional staff, customers, and vendors.
- Strong, positive team builder with leadership ability.
- Knowledge of current fire and life safety systems.
- Proficient in NFPA codes and standards.
- Strong understanding of Profit and Loss statements and key financial drivers.
- Ability to attract, develop, grow, and retain a team.
- Professional business, engineering or equivalent degree.
- Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, proficient at Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
- Valid driver’s license.

Pay
$150k-$180k, final offer based on experience.
