About the Role
This position exercises complete responsibility for branches within the division manager’s supervision, directing and coordinating all sales, branch operations, and personnel development activities to create a business operation that increases sales, profitability, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assess local market conditions, identify current and prospective sales opportunities, and develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans for the division.
- Analyze and exercise independent judgment and discretion in advancing PRMI’s business objectives and customer interests regarding significant financial decisions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain sales and profitability plans according to account management principles.
- Carry out major assignments affecting business operations of the employer or the employer’s customers.
- If the division manager is a loan originator, perform the following tasks:
- Collect and analyze information regarding the customer’s income, assets, investments, or debts.
- Analyze applicant data, credit, and collateral property value.
- Determine which financial products best meet the customer’s needs and financial circumstances.
- Provide advice to the customer regarding the advantages and disadvantages of available financial products.
- Market, service, or promote the employer’s financial products.
- Direct all operational aspects of the division, including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration, and sales to support profitability goals.
- Ensure all areas of work performance or departments are properly staffed and directed.
- Provide training, coaching, development, and motivation to bring out the best in each team member.
- Oversee the orientation and evaluation of all employees.
- Oversee division financial management.
- Recommend desirable changes in the policies and goals of the division and the organization.
- Assist managers in developing division and organizational objectives as well as budgets.
- Communicate effectively with other branches and senior managers concerning effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs.
- Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
- Manage the division by following high ethical standards and complying with all government regulations.
- Maintain and enforce personnel policy.
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the division operation to ensure policies are being observed and profitability goals are being achieved.
- Take prompt corrective action as needed.
- Increase personal knowledge and expertise in business and appropriate technology.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to effectively and professionally handle difficult situations that may arise when working with branches/division.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Familiarity with accounting terms and procedures (e.g., debits, credits, General Ledgers, etc.).
Qualifications
At least years of mortgage experience.
Work Requirements
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, utilize a computer, and maintain a work schedule.
- Must perform effectively in an office setting.
- Physical attendance in a defined office space (branch or corporate) may be required to maintain and ensure secure privacy of borrower and other protected information.
- Compliance with and adherence to all applicable mortgage and fair lending laws and regulations, as well as PRMI policies.
- Ability to work extended hours may be required.
