Division Director, Gynecologic Oncology | Associate Professor or Professor

Position Highlights

The Division Director of Gynecologic Oncology functions as the academic, clinical, and administrative leader of the division, advancing excellence in patient care, research, education, faculty development, and strategic growth across the IU Health system. This individual will collaborate closely with departmental and health system leadership to ensure alignment with institutional priorities and continued expansion of a nationally recognized program.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology (ABOG)
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gynecologic Oncology fellowship
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive academic leadership experience; prior Division or Medical Director experience preferred
• Demonstrated success in faculty mentorship, program development, operational and financial management, and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Strategic thinker with strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and leadership abilities

Experience & Leadership Competencies

Minimum 3–5 years of progressive academic leadership experience; prior Division or Medical Director experience preferred. Demonstrated success in faculty mentorship, program development, operational and financial management, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Strategic thinker with strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and leadership abilities.
