About the role

The Division of Vascular Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time tenure track Surgeon-Scientist/Investigator at the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor. This individual will serve as the Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery and play a key leadership role in the expansion of clinical programs and research within the division and health system.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery
  • Expand clinical programs and research within the division and health system
  • Develop and maintain an extramurally funded research program (basic, translational, clinical trial, or health services outcomes)
  • Contribute to the education of Medical Students and Vascular Surgery residents and fellows

Requirements

  • Completed an ACGME-accredited vascular surgery fellowship/residency program
  • Board-eligible or board certified in vascular surgery

  • Established academic interests
  • Promising track record in securing extramural funding

  • Ability to secure extramural funding

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $476,966.00-$786,838.00.

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
