Working with us takes a certain kind of person; we want someone who identifies with our values and is passionate about serving and making a difference in the lives of others.

About Our Program

Eckerd Connects’ Central Louisiana Juvenile Justice (CenLA JJ) program provides diversion services for youth engaged with the Juvenile Court. In partnership with the State of Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice, our CenLA JJ team has helped young people build skills, confidence, and positive pathways while preventing deeper involvement in the justice system. Youth receive individualized support including mentorship, standardized assessments, goal-setting, pro-social activities, and follow-up support after discharge. We focus on strengths, not mistakes, helping youth move from uncertainty to confidence and success.
