Dive Instructor/Dive Equipment Technician

About the role

This position is contingent upon contract award. Resicum International LLC is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates in anticipation of a potential contract award supporting the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), 720th Special Tactics Group (720 STG), Special Tactics Training Squadron (STTS) at Hurlburt Field, Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom, pool, open-water, and field instruction supporting Special Operations combat diving training.
  • Conduct training on combat diving tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Serve as a Combat Diver and Dive Supervisor during training events.
  • Instruct students on diving safety, emergency procedures, and operational risk management.
  • Conduct practical evaluations and provide mentorship to students throughout training events.
  • Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and quality assurance of military diving equipment and life-support systems.
  • Maintain diving equipment in accordance with applicable USSOCOM, U.S. Navy, and Department of Defense standards.
  • Conduct hyperbaric chamber operations and ensure compliance with established safety procedures.
  • Maintain equipment accountability, maintenance records, and required documentation.
  • Assist government personnel with curriculum improvements and instructional development.
  • Support additional Special Tactics training requirements as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of the U.S. Army Special Forces Underwater Operations School (SFUWOS), Key West, Florida.
  • Qualified Combat Diver and Dive Supervisor from an accredited USSOCOM Combat Diver training program.
  • Current Combat Diver qualification within the previous three (3) years.
  • Qualified and experienced in hyperbaric chamber operations.
  • Demonstrated experience performing preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and quality assurance of military diving life-support systems.
  • Certified Dive Medical Technician through a USSOCOM-recognized program, including one of the following: U.S. Army Special Forces Diving Medical Technician (ATRRS Course 011-ASIQ5), U.S. Navy Diving Medical Technician (CANTRAC Course A-433-0020), U.S. Marine Corps Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman (Diving).
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding duties in austere maritime and Special Operations environments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required installation access, credentials, and government authorizations.
  • Ability to travel as required, including Temporary Duty (TDY) assignments.
