About the role
The District Supervisor at United Dairy Farmers is responsible for overseeing, leading, and managing up to 9 convenience stores within a district. The primary responsibility involves ensuring the delivery of an exceptional guest experience across each store by adhering to the UDF's Hi Five Guest Experience framework.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and coach store management teams to ensure the delivery of the UDF Hi Five Guest Experience.
- Analyze guest experience and quality assurance scores to identify areas of improvement and respond promptly.
- Stock merchandise, ensuring shelves, displays, milk boxes, and freezers are filled and faced, and dip cabinets are presentable.
- Manage inventory control, record sales transactions accurately, and participate in quarterly audits.
- Oversee recruitment, interviewing, and selection of store associates, and ensure efficient use of labor hours.
- Develop and mentor store management teams, fostering a positive and engaged work environment.
- Coordinate with the corporate fuel team on pricing strategies and changes, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze district financial reports, monitor competitor activities, and recommend responsive action.
- Operate store equipment, including POS terminals, gas consoles, and perform various administrative tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Five or more (5+) years' experience managing managers and/or direct reports.
- Previous experience in a quick-service restaurant (QSR) or convenience store (C-store) environment.
- Experience in multi-unit retail store management.
Skills and Abilities

- Computer proficiency in MS Office and PC.

Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear, and understand English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment and prepare DipSide items.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures and lift heavy objects.
- Basic math skills to complete required records.
