Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory sales strategy: Drive new business and expand existing customer relationships within the assigned district.
- Achieve or exceed revenue and margin goals: Meet sales objectives through proactive account management and effective opportunity planning.
- Identify new market opportunities: Analyze industry trends and customer data to uncover growth potential and competitive advantages.
- Promote Worldwide Electric's full product line: Ensure customers understand the value and performance advantages of the company's products.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors and end-users: Strengthen partnerships to increase engagement and loyalty.
- Conduct regular sales visits and presentations: Deliver impactful product demonstrations and solution-based selling conversations.
- Collaborate with key decision-makers: Understand customer needs and recommend products that drive operational efficiency and performance.
- Resolve customer issues effectively: Partner with internal teams to ensure satisfaction and timely follow-up on orders, pricing, or delivery concerns.
- Support channel partners: Provide sales tools, product training, and joint selling support to distributors and representatives.
- Cook with internal departments: Work closely with customer service, operations, and engineering to meet customer requirements.
- Participate in trade shows and regional events: Represent Worldwide Electric to build brand recognition and generate new business leads.
- Communicate market insights: Share competitive intelligence and customer feedback to guide product development and pricing strategies.
- Maintain CRM accuracy: Record all customer activities, pipeline updates, and forecasts in the company CRM system.
- Provide regular business reports: Present territory updates, market trends, and performance metrics to leadership.
- Forecast demand effectively: Collaborate with operations to support accurate inventory planning and order fulfillment.
- Monitor key performance indicators: Track progress against goals and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of business development or strategic sales experience in the industrial, electrical, or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven record of building relationships, developing new markets, and achieving measurable sales growth.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical motors, drives, or related products preferred.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a collaborative approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Willingness to travel to customers, partners, and events 75% of the time.
