About the role
The District Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing operations within a district office, including supervising customer service and equipment processing personnel to meet financial and operational objectives. This role involves making decisions that ensure efficient use of resources, engaging employees, creating a customer-focused culture, driving performance, and maintaining a strong understanding of the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership, planning, and direction to ensure business objectives and financial goals are achieved.
- Holds self and team accountable for timely completion of assignments and achieving expected results.
- Maintains communication with other departments within the organization.
- Ensures compliance with patient privacy laws and company policies.
- Manages equipment inventory and par levels, ensuring adherence to contract terms, pricing, and policies.
- Recruits, trains, and develops employees, emphasizing continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Completes and maintains DOT certification, according to location-specific needs.
- Oversees staffing levels and on-call schedules based on demand.
- Manages missing and lost equipment, software upgrades, and accessories.
- Uses available resources to ensure teams operate efficiently, handles geographic routing and prioritization to service customers.
- Manages billing for account invoices and assists with account receivables collections.
- Learns and uses available systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensures timeliness of district-wide performance appraisals.
Requirements
Required:
- 3 years of management experience or work experience with demonstrated leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Healthcare, hospital industry, medical equipment, sales, and services experience preferred.
- Business and financial management expertise to assist with contract management and account margin maintenance.
- Profit and loss (P&L) statement and budget management experience.
- Demonstrated computer literacy.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as required.
- Valid driver's license.
