District Operations Manager II

About the role

A District Operations Manager II at White Cap manages and provides leadership to a team of Branch Managers. They coordinate operational and day-to-day functional activities, communicate and develop an operational plan to district and regional leadership, manage all district-wide operational strategy rollouts, budgets, and goals, collect data and submit reports as needed, determine market opportunities for new products and services, ensure operational activities are conducted within expense budget, communicate and reinforce safety compliance, and generally have 7+ years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manages and provides leadership to a team of Branch Managers.
• Captures and analyzes data to support business decisions.
• Communicates and develops operational plan to district and regional leadership.
• Manages all district-wide operational strategy rollouts, budgets, and goals.
• Collects data and submits reports as needed.
• Determines market opportunities for new products and services.
• Ensures operational activities are conducted within expense budget.
• Communicates and reinforces safety compliance.
• Operates a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle more than 20% of the average work week.

Qualifications

• Seventy-five percent (75%) or more of the average work week operating a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle.
• Seven (7) or more years of experience in a related field.
• Several years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably in a district or multi-site leadership role.
• Proficiency in operational analysis, performance metrics, and data-driven decision making.
• Experience with implementing process improvement and optimizing operational efficiencies.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities, with demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and developing teams.
• A thorough understanding of safety regulations (EHS) and experience in implementing safety programs to ensure compliance and maintain a safe work environment.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually.
