About the role

Cambria is seeking a District Manager in Atlanta, GA to develop, cultivate, and grow residential and commercial sales of Cambria throughout an assigned territory. This role involves managing Market Representatives, Showroom/Gallery personnel, and business partners to achieve sales goals through cross-collaboration with Operations and team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Cambria by coaching, supervising, and leading Market Representatives in their local, assigned sales regions and Showroom/Gallery personnel.
  • Effectively manage 5-10 direct reports, clearly defining priorities and expectations.
  • Develop and challenge employees to be high-performing through daily or weekly feedback, performance reviews, and addressing performance issues.
  • Establish a sales-driven culture by setting clear and measurable sales goals.
  • Use Salesforce to observe and manage employee activity.
  • Ensure market development to maximize sales within the region by developing quarterly and annual territory sales plans.
  • Oversee development of sales plans by direct reports for their markets or locations.
  • Be available to meet with direct reports and customers over meals or at events (e.g., Cambria or industry-sponsored, sporting events).
  • Provide ongoing training and education to Market Representatives and Showroom/Gallery personnel, including riding with Market Representatives 2-3 days per week and spending 1-2 days per week in assigned Showroom/Galleries.
  • Provide initial intensive in-market training and education to new Market Representatives.
  • Grow business partner relationships for both residential and commercial accounts by cultivating relationships and holding partners accountable for sales and sales-driving activities.
  • Maintain a high level of business, financial, and industry expertise to advise partners effectively.
  • Collaborate with leadership at Cambria-Owned Distribution Centers and FabShops in the assigned region, including spending 1-2 days per week at an assigned office.
  • Maintain professional contact with key partners, industry associations, retailers, etc., for sales and recruiting purposes.
  • Be an expert in industry standards and regulatory codes for residential and commercial areas of the business.
  • Actively use social media channels to promote the Cambria brand and product.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create market intelligence and support materials.
  • Calibrate and collaborate with department leadership on initiatives and tools to build and grow business in the territories.
  • Communicate relevant information from other areas of the company to Market Representatives.
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in the architectural and design industry.
  • Excellent business knowledge and financial acumen.

  • Proven experience in leading sales teams with disciplined planning, territory management, follow-up, and data-driven accountability.

  • Proven effective use of CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Must be able to travel and hold a valid Driver’s License.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of sales experience plus a minimum of 3 years of employee management experience.
  • Systems: Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides) suites of software; Concur and Salesforce experience preferred.

Schedule

  • 80% local travel by car to customers; remaining 20% to trade shows, associations, and trips to Minnesota for training.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and overnights, and travel over weekends.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of quartz samples to and from appointments and events.
  • Must be able to drive for long periods of time.

Pay

Cambria’s starting salary range for this position is $110,438 - $154,453. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
