About the role
As a District Manager for the Learning Care Group, you will lead and manage approximately 10 schools in a defined geographic area, overseeing all business operations, profit and loss, and education/learning.
Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and energize employees to accomplish the Company vision, mission, and values.
- Create a positive and enjoyable work environment, fostering trust and loyalty among school employees.
- Support and interact with school management and staff by spending approximately 75% of your time in schools.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain superior talent.
- Develop and implement creative tactical marketing programs.
- Proactively manage all center facilities regarding safety, cleanliness, maintenance, and improvements.
- Provide an exceptional childhood learning environment and quality child care service that exceeds customer expectations.
- Manage safety and security programs for children.
- Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, programs, and processes.
- Lead and maintain appropriate certification and accreditation programs.
- Establish an environment of learning and direct the implementation of standardized education and curriculum programs.
- Maximize school enrollment and sales revenue.
- Control and manage expenses to achieve budgeted profitability.
- Advise schools on business and operational systems and improvements to drive growth and profitability.
- Manage and collect cash.
Requirements
- Must meet state childcare licensing requirements for education and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in multi-unit management in a service industry, retail, hospitality, healthcare, or education.
- Demonstrated ability to build and coach a team of individual business unit leaders.
- Early Childhood Education or Education field preferred but not required.
- Approximately 75% drivable travel required.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $106,000 annually. This position is also eligible for a District Manager bonus program based on district performance.
