About the role
The Nevada State Director leads Danville programs in Nevada, overseeing operations including residential, day services, and other settings. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring high-quality outcomes, managing finances, and fostering program growth.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and mentor leaders and other employees
- Ensure high quality outcomes (health and safety of individuals served)
- Ensure compliance with Danville’s service contracts and policies
- Lead and organize regular meetings and other key business meetings
- Be on-call and support team members in urgent situations
- Maintain relationships with individuals served, their teams, and contracting partners
- Oversee revenue and expenses, ensuring financial viability
- Review and approve individual service budgets/contracts/authorizations
- Foster program growth and manage intakes and discharges
- Secure and maintain housing needs for individuals in residential settings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, QIDP or QIDP eligible
- Two years experience as an administrator (recommended)
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Criminal background check and drug test required
- Effective communication skills (speaking, reading, writing)

- Strong track record of leadership success
- Passion and enthusiasm for working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
- High level of integrity and honesty
- Excellent judgment and crisis response capability
- Positive outlook towards DSPs and caregivers, with the ability to recognize and develop potential
- Good writing skills and articulate communication abilities
- Proficiency in Danville’s information systems (Microsoft Office, Fusion, Paylocity, etc.)
- Knowledge of human resources and employment law
- Understanding of basic business and accounting practices
- Efficient work management and time organization
- Charisma and effective presentation/training skills
