District Manager, Auto Service - Southern California

Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee the operations of retail repair shops within a certain region
- Reach financial objectives
- Assign workloads
- Adhere to company policies and local, state and federal laws
- Train team members
- Address performance issues that affect profits in order of priority
- Coach other managers
- Resolve customer concerns using excellent customer service skills
- Develop business strategies for revenue growth
- Manage inventory control
- Hire and train store managers
- Collaborate with managers to set goals for each store
- Communicate and enforce customer policies to managers and team members
- Ensure quality consistency across the district and increase sales and profitability in their area
Qualifications
- Auto repair shop management position or equivalent business experience in the automotive industry
- Previous experience in managing and coaching team members to success through effective communication; business development and strategy implementation knowledge
- Problem-solving using analytical, creative, and critical-thinking skills
- Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with clearly defined goals
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in business operations
- Possess valid California driver's license
- Ability to work a minimum of five days, Monday-Friday
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar position preferred, but not required
