District Manager
Position Overview
The District Manager is responsible for leading assigned stores to achieve outstanding customer service, operational goals, and financial targets while adhering to company policies.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain exemplary customer service within the district and community
- Develop and execute plans to improve store and area performance
- Recruit, develop, and motivate Store Managers to exceed customer expectations
- Ensure company's cash security policies and procedures are followed
- Create special business relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
- Establish a strong customer service culture
- Analyze financial statements and trends to increase sales and maximize profits
- Develop strategies to increase market share and store revenues
- Control labor hours, cash, store audits, and shrinkage
- Conduct complete and thorough district reviews of each store to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Job Requirements
- A minimum of three years of multi-unit management experience in industries such as financial services, retail, and hospitality
- Willingness to engage with customers and develop positive relationships
- A strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team
- Superior verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
- High-energy, collaborative leadership expertise
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- A vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current proof of insurance
- English/Spanish bilingual (a plus)
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance
- Must be able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Must be able to adapt to change
- Must be able to manage several projects at one time and handle frequent interruptions to meet customer needs
- Must be able to travel to stores regularly
