Responsibilities
- 85% focus on account management / 10% focus on distributor management/ 5% administrative
- Develop a key account list and maintain strong relationships with buyers, restaurant groups, retailers, and important on/off-premise accounts, with a focus on City of Chicago on-premise accounts
- Work with distributor partners and Kobrand's suppliers to drive sales and distribution growth in on/off-premise accounts throughout Illinois
- Propose, coordinate, and execute on-premise and off-premise events, tastings, wine dinners, and educational activations for consumers/trade
- Conduct monthly business reviews with supervisor to evaluate account performance, identify growth opportunities, and align on strategic priorities
- Identify market trends and opportunities, and propose action plans to the supervisor
- Manage and achieve individual quota for depletions, placements, and qualitative efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum five years’ experience selling fine wines (Sommelier, Supplier, Distributor)
- Proven track record of developing new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, and building and maintaining impactful customer relationships
- Strong verbal/written communication, organizational, and sales skills
- Passion and knowledge of wine, wine regions and the wine industry (WSET, CSW a plus)
- Strong computer skills are a MUST (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to do occasional overnight travel within the territory
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to comfortably lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk, stand, climb, balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch on a daily basis

Kobrand Corporation offers a competitive salary, performance-based bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The base compensation range for this job classification is between $90,000 and $100,000. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is dependent on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history, job-related skills and qualifications, and length of service.
