Primary Responsibilities
- Knowledge and application of House Rules, Protocol, House-specific Applications, House Administrative Policies and the Legislature’s Joint Policies and Procedures.
- Congressional Constituent Management.
- Day-to-day Operations: Monthly Bills, Office Files, Office Property, Office Supplies, Office Communications.
- Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports.
- Manage Office Expense Accounts and Travel System.
- Required Legislative Filings.
- Municipal, County, and Regional Issues Related to the District.
- Community and Public Outreach.
- Mandatory Trainings as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- An Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience; or a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Professional administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
