About the Role
This position involves performing a variety of office support and clerical duties, including typing and editing materials, serving as a receptionist, composing correspondence, maintaining filing systems, preparing agency documents, processing mail, and performing data entry. May serve as a lead worker providing guidance to other clerical employees. Receives general supervision and carries out assigned responsibilities independently.
Minimum Qualifications
- Six or more months of experience in office support work
- Possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency (15 earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute for the required experience)

Pay
- Guaranteed 1% pay increase for every two years of continuous service up to 20 years
- $2.00 per hour shift differential for shifts beginning on or between 12:00pm (noon) and 5:00am at a 24/7 congregate care facility
- $0.75 per hour medium security or $1.50 maximum security differential for full-time work at a qualifying facility
- $1.00 per hour restrictive housing differential for regular post assignment within a restrictive housing/segregation unit
