About the role

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Distribution System Dispatcher to work onsite in the Fort Wayne, IN area. The role involves monitoring the electric distribution system, tracking field crews, dispatching personnel during outages and emergencies, and coordinating the safe restoration of power to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the electric distribution system.

Responsibilities

• Tracking field crews and distribution system work
• Dispatching service personnel during outages and emergencies
• Operating company communication equipment
• Coordinating the safe restoration of power
• Authorizing the energizing and restoration of distribution facilities
• Maintaining accurate outage and system records
• Tracking abnormal or defective equipment
• Following company safety, health, and operating procedures
• Communicating and coordinating multiple activities during system emergencies
