Distribution Supervisor 3rd Shift (Sun-Thur, 9pm-5:30am)

Pay
Expected annual salary range: $86,000 – $126,000. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
About the role
We are one of three major distribution hubs for the Eaton Electrical Sector. With a team of just under 200 employees, we operate in a 575,000 sq ft warehousing space distributing four product lines with continued growth to six product lines within the next year. We operate 110+ powered industrial vehicles to receive and process material for shipment.

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for a specialized process within the Distribution Center in a multi-shift, high-volume, high-order-capacity, fast-paced environment.
- Responsible for performance with respect to safety & the environment, quality, on-time delivery, and cost for their respective area.
- Exhibit Eaton’s Leadership Style while working cooperatively with all functional leaders to exceed the needs of the customer.
- Responsible for employees within a department and the contribution and performance of the department (monitor attendance, productivity, and other performance standards; provide coaching and counseling to associates).
- Understand the relationship between decision-making and profitability while ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures, inventory accuracy and control, E&O, damages, etc.
- Drive the processes in the department through the Eaton Business systems.
- Assist Plant Manager/Inventory Control Manager/EHS Manager in the development of processes to achieve a zero-incident culture, maximize output, location accuracy, financial obligations, and reduce overall costs—through these improvements exceed the customer’s expectations.
- Ensure that organizational decision-making is based on a process-oriented culture to guarantee the linkage from strategy to actions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience, with direct reports, within a Distribution Center and/or Manufacturing environment.
- No relocation is offered for this position; all candidates must currently reside within a 50-mile radius of Lancaster, TX (Active Duty Military Service members are exempt from the geographical area).

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or logistics from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within a Distribution Center environment.
- Previous forklift and/or order picker equipment (MHE) operation experience.
- Experience with an ERP system and WMS system.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
Skills
