FTE: 0.6, Shift: Variable, Schedule: Rotating Weekends
About the role
The Distribution Specialist is an exciting opportunity in the Supply Chain Operations team responsible for monitoring and assuring supply and patient care equipment are maintained. Resolving and fulfilling requests and inquiries, your work will directly contribute to ensuring excellent health care experiences for MultiCare patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Verify materials and receipts documentation against purchase order and input purchase order receipts
- Coordinate with Purchasing personnel to resolve purchase order or receipt discrepancies
- Package and process supplies and materials being returned to vendors or other facilities and coordinate shipping
- Supply stores stock supplies within its designated Distribution Storeroom location
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in receiving, distribution of products, warehousing, storekeeping, hospital Central Service or Inventory Control preferred (or combination of knowledge and education that would exhibit the qualifications to execute the duties of the position)
- Computer input/keyboard experience desired
- Computerized Materials Management system experience preferred
- Experience in using an electronic signature software preferred
- Basic experience in PC business applications including MS Word and Excel

Pay
The pay scale is $23.02 - $35.00 USD. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
