About the role
Rockline Industries is seeking a Distribution Administrative Specialist to support their distribution operations.
Responsibilities
- Cook up and manage trailer activity in the yard.
- Schedule inbound and outbound loads and assist with collect order processing.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies through cycle counting activities.
- Process small package shipments using UPS and FedEx.
- Provide backup support for scheduling, dispatch, distribution, and inventory functions.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement approved solutions.
- Support a safe work environment and demonstrate Rockline's RRITE Values.
Requirements
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution center experience.
- Experience with scheduling and dispatching in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn enterprise systems such as JD Edwards.
- Experience working with truckload and less-than-truckload carriers is preferred.
