Responsibilities

  • Work with Berger’s proprietary software in an AS400 system;
  • Work very closely with our delivery teams to handle in home deliveries and place accurate notes in our two systems as to any issues that may occur during delivery;
  • Track items to be returned to vendor and work with the account to schedule return trucks;
  • Making timeframe calls to customers to advise of delivery date and time;
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred);
  • A minimum of 2 years customer service experience required;
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs carrying, pushing and/or pulling;
  • Must be able to demonstrate previous successful experience performing the following key skills:
    • Knowledge and ability to use typical office equipment (i.e. PC, calculator, fax machine, etc.);
    • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills;
    • Strong evaluation and accuracy skills;
    • Good oral and written communication skills;
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
    • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions;
    • Ability to calculate currency conversions and weight and volume calculations
