Distribution Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Create daily routes for drivers using delivery software
• Work with warehouse crews to ensure all items for deliveries are present prior to scheduling
• Track items to be returned to vendors and coordinate with accounts to schedule return trucks
• Absorb incoming trucks and verify contents match manifests
• Contact clients to inform them of delivery dates and times
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
• College degree (preferred)
• Minimum of two years of customer service experience (required)
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong evaluation skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to calculate currency conversions and weight/volume calculations
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
