Distribution Operator 1, 10pm-6:30am S-Th

Responsibilities

• Perform work in compliance with local quality procedures and work instructions.
• Perform work within local Warehouse Management System, utilizing scanners and/or computers where applicable.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements.
• Escalates any customer impacting quality issues or internal non conformances to leadership.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: High School Diploma, High School Equivalency Diploma or participating in a Cook sponsored program to obtain a High School Diploma or Equivalency Diploma. No Experience Required.
• Must be able to complete onsite 6S training and receive certification.
• Qualification Requirements: Minimum 18 years of age.
• Must have effective communication skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision.
• Able to drive Hyster order picker (a plus).
• Able to professionally communicate thoughts and ideas.
• Positively able to receive feedback and apply to their role.
• Able to complete all tasks given from leadership.
• Able to remain calm and focused in fast paced situations.
• Able to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
• Able to visually recognize product/catalog descriptions.
• Able to work standing and be mobile for a full eight-hour day.

Physical Requirements

• Moderate exposure to noise level in the work environment that is moderate to occasionally loud.
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves boxes up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent repetitive motion.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to grasp, carry, feel or touch; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch.
