About the role

The Distribution Operations Specialist – Associate supports logistics, inventory management, and asset distribution activities within the Cadet Command C4IM support framework. This entry-level role assists with warehouse operations, shipment coordination, material tracking, and receiving/distribution of government-furnished equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the receipt, storage, inventory control, and distribution of IT equipment and materials.
  • Aid in warehouse operations and logistics activities at Fort Knox and remote locations.
  • Ensure proper documentation and handling of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Track equipment movement and update inventory records in accordance with Army procedures.
  • Support lifecycle replacement efforts and coordination of IT equipment deployment.
  • Conduct periodic inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Provide support during inspections and compliance reviews.
  • Follow all safety and security protocols while handling government property.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree (AA) or 2-year technical school diploma and a minimum of 2 years of relevant logistics or warehouse support experience.
  • Ability to lift and handle equipment and supplies in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory systems and logistics software preferred.
  • Familiarity with Army logistics and supply chain operations is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Verifiable DoD Secret (or higher) security clearance is required.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
