RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet with shift leads to coordinate warehouse activities to ensure safe and accurate receiving and shipping of product.
- Supervise administrative and order process management, maintain open communication between office and customer service and warehouse floor.
- Develop and maintain systems to measure order fulfillment, accuracy and shipment timeliness. Provide various accuracy and production reports using SAP and BI information.
- Train and supervise associates to properly, safely and efficiently perform their jobs.
- Scheduling of personnel, equipment and services.
- Ensures product is shipped and handled with the highest quality standards while achieving maximum productivity.
- Compliance to NIBCO safety, OSHA, environmental and quality programs. Enforce good safety practices by conducting meetings, training, promoting accident preventions and enforcing safety. Actively working to maintain VPP Status.
- ISO Document Administrator
- Analyze operating capabilities in relation to receiving, storage, repackaging and shipping, making recommendations for change as appropriate.
EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years’ experience in distribution/logistics.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
TRAINING AND SKILLS
- Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, WebEx, Cloud, and SAP preferred.
- Strong communication skills and quality focus.
