Distribution Manager

About the role

In this role you will provide leadership and direction for day-to-day distribution operations to ensure customer demand is met consistently and efficiently.

• Ensure all operational activities are conducted safely and reliably in full compliance with HAZMAT and Department of Transportation (DOT) documentation requirements.
• Maintain supply reliability for customers and locations, ensuring all medical gas deliveries comply with FDA standards and Linde's quality assurance system.
• Schedule delivery of packaged and cryogenic products to meet internal goals, customer expectations, and operational standards.
• Maintain, review, and verify work order summaries to ensure timely shipments.
• Lead safety initiatives, including administering safety training, conducting evaluations, and overseeing accident investigations.
• Manage personnel fairly and consistently, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages motivation, information sharing, and employee empowerment.

Requirements

• High school diploma; a college degree is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two (2+) years of leadership experience, along with at least two (2+) years in Distribution, Logistics, or Transportation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.
• Demonstrated reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the proven ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict in a fair and constructive manner.
• Basic computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn new applications.
• Ability to navigate all levels and areas of the facility.

Pay

Pay Range: $80,000–$95,000.
