Distribution Engineer - Senior

About the role

The Senior Distribution Engineer at ControlPoint Technologies provides technical leadership for complex distribution projects within the Distribution Design & Field Engineering team. The role includes project design, field inspection, and work order management of overhead and underground distribution projects for electric utility distribution systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in electrical distribution for utilities
• Experience in Electric Power Distribution Design

Qualifications

• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Experience with GIS, STORMS or other Work Management Systems

Skills

• Proven knowledge of electric utility distribution systems and projects from the field planning stages, through detailed design and construction
• Expertise in power utility standards, distribution overhead facilities, distribution underground facilities, and power utility operations

Pay

The base compensation range for this position is based on education, work experience, licensure, and qualifications. Base Compensation Annual Range: $95,000 - $134,000
