Distribution Engineer II – Electric Utilities

About the role

KDM Engineering is seeking an experienced Distribution Engineer II to join our growing team in Pennsylvania. In this role, you’ll lead distribution engineering projects, provide technical guidance to project teams, and help deliver safe, reliable, and constructible solutions for our utility clients. This is a great opportunity for an experienced distribution engineering professional who enjoys both hands-on technical work and project leadership. You’ll collaborate directly with clients, mentor developing engineers, contribute to complex utility projects, and play an important role in expanding KDM’s growing distribution capabilities in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Design development, equipment layouts, construction drawings and bill of materials
• Proficiency of power engineering theories and principles.
• Proficiency of practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations and preparing recommendations.
