Distribution Designer
About the role

Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed design packages for overhead and underground electric distribution projects
- Apply utility standards, construction practices, and design guidelines to all projects
- Conduct field visits, collect data, and incorporate findings into design deliverables
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure accurate and timely completion of designs
- Utilize design software and GIS tools to develop drawings, maps, and construction documents
- Ensure all deliverables meet client and company quality standards
Qualifications
- Ace degree or equivalent technical training in engineering, drafting, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of electric distribution design experience
- Familiarity with PSE design standards and systems strongly preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, or similar design tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
