Distribution Center Team Lead - 2nd Shift

Essential Functions

• Avoids delays in the delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production schedules.
• Supports the training of new DC associates within their area of responsibility.
• Resolves issues or problems where possible, elevating them to a more senior level when necessary.
• Reviews methods to reduce errors and waste in the DC operation.
• Ensures staff comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and work safely.
• Maintains a clean and tidy working environment to enhance operational efficiency.
• Assists pickers in reducing transition times between order batches and handling bulk orders with powered industrial equipment.
• Runs nightly reports on errors and production, performs product relocations, and conducts bin audits.

Requirements

• At least three (3) years of proven warehouse experience and at least one (1) year of experience in warehouse leadership.
• Ability to motivate, develop, and lead others.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality.
• Good planning skills and ability to meet targets and deadlines.
• Excellent attention to details.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel.
