About the Role

The Distribution Center Senior Manager (LDCM) is responsible for day-to-day operational excellence, ensuring consistent application of standard operating procedures, policies, and Key Performance Indicators. This role oversees site financials, including P&L management, and leads all employment-related activities for site team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage labor, delivery, and other variable costs within the Distribution Center to align with annual business plans.
  • Drive team member accountability and performance, ensuring company policies are administered appropriately.
  • Lead company safety initiatives to ensure safe and on-time delivery of products, including meeting safety performance requirements (TRIR-Total Reportable Incidence Rate and Preventable Accident rates).
  • Collaborate with Wholesale and Franchise sales teams to meet service level agreements and identify opportunities for improved customer service.
  • Foster an Employer of Choice environment and enhance employee experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals for the site.
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory training to equip staff for assigned duties.
  • Partner with Human Resources to execute employment cycle activities, including hiring, training, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement updates or redesigns of Standard Operating Procedures to improve efficiency, cost, or customer satisfaction.
  • Lead building initiatives related to technology, cost containment, inventory management, safety, training, and engagement.
  • Ensure successful adoption of new behaviors and skills required for evolving expectations.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and allocation to meet operational and financial goals while upholding customer service excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A 4-year degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, Business, or related disciplines is preferred, or equivalent experience in warehouse distribution or transportation.
  • Demonstrated management experience, including leadership, motivational ability, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize, manage time, and maintain composure.
  • Knowledge of Lean methodology and proven success driving change in dynamic environments.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Safety-first mentality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds while bending and twisting.
  • Must maintain a current driver’s license.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
  • 24/7 access to cell phone, email, and security system for emergencies.
  • ERP system and routing software experience is a plus.
  • High level of professional integrity.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.

Pay

$100,000 to $140,000 annually, dependent on experience, plus a 15% annual short-term incentive.
