Distribution Center Picker/Packer

Job Purpose

As a Distribution Center Picker/Packer at Bren-Tronics, part of EnerSys and a manufacturer of advanced portable power solutions, you will prepare shipments according to company quality and industrial standards. You will also maintain and organize shipping areas on a daily basis.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Aid in packing finished goods into unit packages.
• Responsible for picking and packing unit packages into master containers.
• Print and verify label contents accuracy before applying to any container.
• Stack master containers onto pallets, banding and shrink wrapping to finalize pallets.
• Operate forklift and/or pallet jacks to move packed materials.
• Maintain and organize inventory of shipping materials and supplies, and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Input shipping information into Visual system or other carrier information systems, as required.
• Verify all documentation accurately according to specific shipment requirements.
• Report any damaged/missing products or shipping materials to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Distribution Center Picker/Packer.
• Shipping experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
