Maintain Computerized Data
Maintain computerized data for efficient procurement of parts and insure proper inventory levels.
Control Distribution
- Control distribution of all parts and other items related to the parts room.
Perform Duties
- Perform all receiving and shipping duties that pertain to the maintenance department.

Physical Requirements
- Work unsupervised in the parts room.
- Issue parts and other related items to production and maintenance employees in a timely manner.
- Communicate in simple English to receive instructions, interact with other employees, contact vendors, and understand repair manuals and work orders.
- Use and understand the MP2 maintenance software for efficient acquirement of parts and to insure the proper level of inventory items.
- Create Physical Inventory reports.
- Print Bar Codes.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Issue Stock and Non-Stock Requisition Forms.
- Comply with current Quality System requirements.
- Hazardous waste training shall be provided to the employee within six months of the date the employee filled this position and a review of this training provided every 12 months thereafter.
- The employee will complete a program of classroom instruction. The employee shall be supervised until training is completed.
- The training shall consist of a review of proper management of hazardous waste, satellite accumulation containers, how to review and prepare a hazardous waste manifest, and proper labeling requirements.
Physical Environment
- Occasionally required to work in extreme environmental conditions (hot, cold, humid).
- Occasionally required to climb ladders, squat, bend, and work in confined space.
- Must wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, respirator, safety glasses, and steel toed shoes, hearing protection, etc., as outlined in established department PPE policy.
Education, Experience, Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Manufacturing/Industrial experience
- Some computer background (Excel, Word, etc.)
