Distribution Center HR Generalist
About the role
Ferguson is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our Distribution Center Team. This role supports 120 hourly team members and 10 exempt leaders, focusing on associate engagement, leadership development, and fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
- Affirms gaps and opportunities for improvement in HR policies and processes and recommends solutions.
- Analyzes, prepares, and maintains reporting for leadership team.
- Assists in the development and delivery of training to managers, supervisors, and employees on HR-related laws and policies.
- Researches and stays informed about legal developments affecting HR and employer/employee relations; educates and trains staff accordingly; makes recommendations for changes to policies and procedures to maintain compliance with new developments.
- PARTNERS WITH HRIS, COORDINATES THE HR AUDIT PROCESS FOR ALL AUDITS, REVIEW CONTRACTS FOR HR COMPLIANCE, AND RESPONDS IMMEDIATELY TO ALL AUDIT FINDINGS, ENSURING NEW PROCESSES AND POLICIES ARE IMPLEMENTED TO ENSURE FUTURE HR COMPLIANCE WITH CONTRACTS AND GRANTS.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business or related experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience in an HR position.
- Intuition for business, partnered with a dedication to compliance and legality matters.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to listen attentively to people's ideas and concerns.
- Analytical, diligent, and detail-oriented.
- Outstanding project management and planning abilities.
- Ability to build effective, trusting relationships that contribute to personal and team efficiency.
- Keeps matters confidential and uses tact and courtesy while safeguarding confidentiality.

Pay
The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements. The role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The pay range is $4,766.67 - $7,625.00.
