Distribution Center Associate - 3rd shift

About the role

Under general supervision, receive, put away, replenish, pick, pack, stage, and ship general, medical, and surgical supplies in the Distribution Center. Perform receipt of Purchase Orders into the system and provide cross-docking services to the facilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive Purchase Orders in the system and stage supplies for delivery.
• Perform put away of receipted product.
• Replenish inventory in low unit of measure locations from bulk locations.
• Pick orders utilizing various technology platforms and pack them in appropriate containers.
• Stage orders in appropriate delivery zones and prepare them for shipping.
• Operate hand truck, carts, dollies, “man-up” order-picker, and walkie to transport stored items from warehouse locations for shipment.
• Keep shelves, pallet areas, and workstations clean and organized; maintain a tidy shipping supply area; and follow all safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Assist with special projects.
• Report inventory discrepancies and document according to policy.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required; automated supply/distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced distribution environment and meet productivity standards.
• Willingness to learn; be coachable.
• Proficient in typing, computer use, and quickly learning new software applications.
