Distribution Associate - 3rd Shift

Work Shift: Third Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) – Somersworth, United States of America

About the Role

Coordinate and perform tasks related to shipping and receiving of materials in the Distribution Department in an accurate and efficient manner. Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills material requisitions throughout the plant by delivering raw materials to production and issuing material out of Oracle
• Completes Production Travelers and receives finished goods through Move Transactions in Oracle
• Puts away finished goods in shipping area racking and keeps floors clear
• Wraps pallets from Binder Finishing and Tenterframe
• Labels and puts away raw materials in warehouse racking
• Builds u-brace pallets for Tenterframe production
• Disassembles metal racks and PVC cores for returns
• Covers dock, loads trucks, and confirms BOLs as needed
• Unloads deliveries as needed
• Loads scrap truck as needed
• Ability to become Clamp truck certified
• Ability to become Sit-down fork truck certified
• Performs additional tasks as requested or assigned
• Ability to work overtime as required or requested
• Full-time presence required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted
• Attention to detail
• Effective time management skills
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work well with others

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of OSHA safety rules
• Fork truck experience and/or certification
