Distribution Associate - Bulk (3rd shift)

About the Role

Responsible for three of the following warehouse functions: picking (carousel, automatic dispense machine (ADM), pick-to-light (PTL), voice picking, list picking via RF scanners), packing (small order, multi-tote, advanced shipment notice (ASN)), problem resolution, and carrier sorter. Over time, the employee must demonstrate proficiency in these areas. Works under close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer, distributor, and contract orders for shipment within established guidelines.
• Utilize material handling equipment such as carousel, ADM, PTL, voice picking, list picking via RF scanners, paper picking, manual picking, man-ups, and forklifts.
• Maintain knowledge of Baan Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Kewill, and Red Prairie Warehouse Management System for order processing, lookups, and troubleshooting problem orders.

Requirements

• Works scheduled holidays to maintain service levels for customers.
• Works extended hours, including mandatory Saturdays, as business needs dictate.
• Adheres to scheduled start times; notifies supervisor prior to absence or tardiness.
• Immediately reports safety, sanitation, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues to a coordinator, supervisor, or manager.
• Exhibits good verbal, written, and comprehension skills in English.
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures and Regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift and Man-up License.
• Knowledge of Kewill, BAAN, Red Prairie Warehouse Management Systems, and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
• Experience with FedEx and UPS software, wedge/RF scanners, voice headsets, shrink sealer, heat tunnel, tape gun, utility knife, ladders, step stools, zebra printers, tray former, and various packing components.
• Ability to operate forklifts, man-ups, hydraulic pallets, manual pallets, and hand trucks.
• Basic mathematic and problem-solving skills within a team-based environment.

Pay

Starting base pay for this role is $19.00/hour and may include cost-of-living adjustments. The actual base pay is subject to change based on various factors.
