Distribution Associate

About the role

The Distribution Associate is a member of the Distribution Team within the Logistics department. This role involves completing and coordinating the day-to-day operational functions of packing, shipping, and distribution of goods and supplies under the administration of the distribution management team.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders according to procedure.
• Package all shipments to protect product using appropriate packaging materials.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse.
• Report any problems to Distribution management.
• Comply with company policies and follow department SOPs.
• Use RF devices to pick, pack, and ship products to customers.
• Certify and drive material handling equipment in warehouse areas.
• Conform to all associated regulatory requirements, including FDA & DEA, as well as state and local regulations for material transportation.
• Participate in cycle counts as required.
• Read documents in Standard English, such as Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance schedules, and operating manuals.
• Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by management.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to calculate basic math.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
• Distribution and warehouse experience (preferred).
• Electric forklift experience (preferred).
• Experience with RF devices (preferred).
• Must be able to take direction.
• Must be reliable and responsible.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Physical Environment and Requirements

• Physically able to wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment, including gowns, goggles, face shields, respirators, and protective gloves.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
