Responsibilities
- Articulate and evangelize a bold technical vision for your domain

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 7 years of experience in general software, software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, software specializations (web technologies, security engineering and architecture, cloud and software-defined networking, data architecture), and handling high TPS, real-time compute use cases
- Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, 10+ years of professional experience coding in commonly used languages, and 8+ years of professional experience in the full lifecycle of system development

Pay
Salaries for Distinguished Engineer positions vary by location, ranging from $244,700 - $279,200 in Richmond, VA, to $269,100 - $307,200 in McLean, VA. For candidates hired to work in other locations, the actual annualized salary amount offered will be reflected in the offer letter.
