Distinguished Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Distinguished Architect to anchor our federated enterprise architecture function and serve as a horizontal connector across IT, enterprise applications, enterprise AI, and Security, and all related delivery functions.

Responsibilities

• Owning and publishing the quarterly organization-wide technology radar detailing approved, trial, and retiring technologies.
• Chairing the monthly Architecture Review Board (ARB) to provide a feedback forum for cross-cutting decisions.
• Running the Architecture Community of Practice across all embedded architects across the four delivery functions.
• Own the Architecture Decision Record (ADR) process, defining review thresholds, and maintaining the shared repository.
• Developing and publishing AI architecture blueprints—pre-approved patterns teams can adopt—in partnership with Enterprise Data & AI.
• Defining organization-wide architecture standards including API design, data classification handling, identity integration, and security-by-design.

Requirements

Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, specifically operating in a federated or embedded architectural model.

Proven ability to lead Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and foster a Community of Practice.

Deep understanding of architecture standards spanning API design, identity integration, and security-by-design.

Technical experience developing AI architecture blueprints and managing technology radars.

Skills and Knowledge

Pay

Base Salary Range: $248,400—$341,550 USD
