Job Purpose

The successful candidate will provide integrated support to patients and pharmacists by providing a 'hands-on' approach to total quality patient care through the delivery of a full continuum of medication adherence support. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starter who is looking for an exciting career path with a fast-growing company in the specialty pharmacy management services.

Job Duties

  • Interpret and enter prescription information accurately.
  • Clarify prescription orders with the pharmacist and/or clinicians as needed.
  • Label, fill, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
  • Perform pharmaceutical calculations and identify medications requiring special storage or handling.
  • Prepare medications and necessary supplies (e.g., syringes, sharps containers) for patient delivery.
  • Manage inbound inquiries and perform outbound medication adherence outreach.
  • Secure refill prescriptions and resolve insurance-related issues, including assisting with financial aid resources.
  • Maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing medications.
  • Support operational processes through data entry, claim adjudication, and database management.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives while upholding confidentiality and quality standards.

Experience/ Education

  • Required Licensure/Certification: We are seeking experienced pharmacy technicians who are registered in state of Oregon. Being nationally certified as a CPhT or equivalent is preferred but not required. Should certification need to be obtained for a particular state or updated at the time of employment, the applicant will commit to obtaining the required certification within a mutually agreed upon timeframe.
  • Years of Experience: Required 1+ years, Preferred 5+ years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required
