Pharmacy Technician - L1, Dispensing

Responsibilities
- Manual filling and packing of medications
- Filling medications for automated machines
- Quality Sampling of medications from automated machine
- Packing orders using automated packing machinery
- Support the shipping handler functions such as manually metering packages and placement of packages to be sorted for shipment
Requirements
- Basic computer proficiency
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Standing throughout the entire shift
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Physical ability to: Stand for extended periods, Reach, twist, bend, stoop, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs
- Detail focused and task orientated
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new processes, technologies, and workflow changes
Qualifications
- Possess or obtain an Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
- Licensure Requirement: must complete IL Certification Requirements within 2 years from the date your license was issued, which includes: 1) Passing the CPhT exam and 2) Backend Technician Training Program
- Maintain licensure and compliance training
- Flexibility to perform duties across multiple functional areas
- Formal Pharmacy Technician training or Pharmacy Tech experience preferred
- Certified Pharmacy Technician prior to 2024 preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal Pharmacy Technician training or Pharmacy Tech experience
- Experience working in a Mail Order Pharmacy
- Certified Pharmacy Technician prior to 2024
