Dispensary Senior Supervisor- Plano, IL

About the role

Dutchess Cannabis Plano, IL is looking to hire Dispensary Senior Supervisors. Candidates will be required to complete a pre-assigned training period at a designated store within the IL market prior to commencing duties at your assigned location. Responsibilities

• Follow and uphold established policies for sales and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Aid all Dispensary Associates in the consultation of all customers to ensure that the employee is informed of the right product choices by being knowledgeable of how different methods of cannabis consumption affect customers differently
• Complete and appropriately delegate tasks assigned during scheduled shift, including:
• Correct cash handling
• Accurate use and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Accurate and timely data entry in both the POS system and inventory tracking system
• Assistance in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
• Ensure adherence with security measures and safety compliance
• Maintain an organized and clean store
• Management of visitor log
• End-of-day daily update emails
• Ensure accuracy with the vault
• Work with the Management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations
• Collaborate with cross functional partners to execute company initiatives in store
• Execute and maintain physical and digital merchandising standards
• Drive the continuous improvement of the store and staff
• Monitor and maintain inventory and communicate inventory action items to the GM

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 2+ experience in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting, specifically with POS business operation
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Strong retail math skills required
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic
• Understanding of applicable state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures
• Must be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry
• Must have excellent organization and time management skills
• Must be focused, pay close attention to detail
• Must be able to internalize training and follow instructions
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
• Must have flexibility to work nights and weekends
