This is a full-time, on-site position requiring in-office attendance Monday through Friday in Sterling, Virginia. This is not a remote or hybrid role. Responsibilities

As a HVAC Service Coordinator / Dispatcher, you will coordinate incoming service requests, schedule and dispatch technicians, monitor work order progress, and serve as a primary point of contact for customers.

  • Schedule, prioritize, and dispatch service calls to HVAC technicians.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding appointments, scheduling, and service updates.
  • Create accurate work orders and monitor jobs from initiation through completion.
  • Support field technicians by coordinating schedules and assisting with service-related needs.
  • Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and customer concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members to support efficient daily operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new systems and the HVAC service industry.

Preferred qualifications include previous dispatching, service coordination, customer service, administrative, or call center experience, as well as experience in the HVAC, construction, facilities maintenance, or other field service industries, and familiarity with dispatching or service management software.
