Dispatcher Part-Time

About the role

Maitz Home Services, a dynamic, rapidly‑growing HVAC and Plumbing company, is seeking a highly skilled Dispatcher to join the team at the Allentown, PA location.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch HVAC Service and Plumbing Technicians by reviewing and optimizing routes
• Answer incoming phone calls from existing customers
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure all ticket information is entered correctly in the computer
• Create dispatch numbers for all parts ordered
• Follow up on part orders
• Schedule appointments for part installation

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of office/customer service experience (dispatch experience preferred)
• Professional appearance
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all types of customers
• Strong customer service attitude
• Ability to plan and schedule work rather than just react
• Able to "think on your feet" to provide customers with needed information for their specific installation or repair
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn customer service management and scheduling/dispatch software

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• One Sunday per month: 7:30 am – 7:00 pm (12‑hour shift, performed from home after training)
• Total approximately 32 hours per week
