About the role

Coordinates and monitors the receiving, storing, transferring and dispensing of petroleum products at all storage facilities in accordance with established procedures and quality controls, while maintaining proper communication with Supervisors, Fuel Companies, Airlines, and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory petroleum products daily, weekly, and monthly as required.
  • Prepare and process required documentation related to the work performed.
  • Dispatch work assignments to a group engaged in fuel system maintenance, aircraft servicing, and related functions.
  • Ensure proper utilization of personnel and equipment and impart current or new occupational knowledge to workers within the classification of Gauger and Pipeline Technician.
  • Operate fire/safety control systems associated with all storage facilities.
  • Perform duties required in accordance with good housekeeping and safety practices.
  • Coordinate operations with airlines.
  • Ensure safe and secure operations in accordance with the highest standards of health, safety, security, and all government statutory requirements.
  • Comply with the station’s attendance and tardiness standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Carry out work in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
  • Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
  • Attend training courses as arranged by the company.

The company prohibits the misuse of alcohol and drugs and enforces this through regular testing as part of its Substance Misuse Policy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with regard to weight, measurement, and volume.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English proficiently.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and other FAA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
