Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• Cookout the logistics of vehicle transport, ensuring every ride is handled with care and efficiency.
• Communicate with drivers to provide clear instructions, updates, and route adjustments as needed.
• Monitor transportation progress and ensure timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining high safety standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, provide status updates, and resolve any transportation-related concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including vehicle tracking, scheduling details, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with management and other team members to optimize routing and resource allocation for efficient operations.
• Aid in identifying and troubleshooting logistical challenges to minimize delays and ensure damage-free transport.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar logistics coordination role, preferably in vehicle or specialty transport.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple schedules simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with drivers, customers, and team members.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to remain calm and problem-solve under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
• Knowledge of Northern California geography and route planning to assist in efficient transport coordination.
• A high level of attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction and safe transport practices.
